High Cpu Usage - FPS reduction?

PostSun Oct 25, 2020 4:47 pm

Hello. TreeIt is great. But it's burning my cpu too much  It is any way to reduce maximum FPS? Now I have 200-300 which is too much. I'd like to have about 60 fps maximinimum.

Bump, this is still needed.
While I do not have high CPU / GPU usage I still would prefer my laptop fans not going crazy every time I open TreeIt.

My monitor has a refresh rate of 144 Hz, but when I enable VSync, it limits it to 144 Hz when I would rather have it locked at 60 Hz.

I could technically change my display refresh rate, however I'm not sure if it is a good solution. Just because I prefer to use one app at 60 Hz doesn't mean I don't want to use other applications or see the desktop at the full 144 Hz.
