Floating Verts and normals my issue solved

I use this program to make trees for Cities skylines. As Cities Skylines needs a to be single texture(material) single mesh and point leaf normals up. I always needed to import into blender to join leaves and branches and scale and transform. but doing so messed up the normals for the trunk creating a non smooth edge. To solve this issue first thing in blender go into edit mode select all- go to mesh cleanup merge by distance. then with the normals select all reset vectors then smooth vectors and move slider to max to create full smooth shading.. hope this helps someone. I lost a lot of time to this issue :roll:

Im just an amateur asset creator but removing excessive verts seams like a good idea anyway
