Crash after loading 4k textures

Hello, i'd like to report a bug.

I tried loading some custom textures at 4k resolution for the trunk from Poly Haven: https://polyhaven.com/a/tree_bark_03 however Tree It always crashes with a pop up error saying "Runtime error 506 - Could not load image at line 15372".
I attached the screenshot of the error.

I don't have any problem with the default textures that come with the software.

*Update* I tested out the same textures at 1k and 2k resolution by converting them in Affinity Photo and although the preview shows a black square, they are correctly displayed in the viewport without any crash.

maybe a gpu problem or ram? i try it myself and it worked without any problem.
Try running tree it as administrator

I tried running it as admin but it still crashes. My workstation is CPU based with a decent gaming GPU but i doubt that could be related to my hardware unless TreeIt has problems with AMD cards.
My main vegetation package is SpeedTree Cinema and i can load multiple 8k textures+displacement on a 500k tris hero tree without any problem so i don't think that it's a memory problem.

In any case this is my setup for reference running on Windows 11 Pro:

CPU: Ryzen 9 5950x
RAM: 64 GB DDR4 @3200mhz
GPU: RX 6600 8 GB
