Vertex shader colors bleeding thru

PostFri Mar 24, 2023 5:05 pm

I couldn't find this exact question on the boards already so it thought i would ask.

I have an issue where the vertex colours are bleeding though in my end point application and over powering the texture files native colours. I.E a daisy will look fine until i turn on alpha discard to remove the black alpha but then the colour of the vertex bleeds through. On the stock daisy for example 2 daisy's are green and the third a dark grey. Is there any way to mitigate this? can i for example turn off vertex shading ? i don't see it in the settings. FYI i am naive to vertex shading colour usage so pleas forgive me if i am asking a simple question.

Oh and using the Microsoft 3d viewer and blender everything in the exported FBX look just fine. I know this is most likely an engine issue however other models don't bleed through so it seemed a good idea to ask here.
