Trunk Split Count Not Working

I am pretty new to this software so please let me know if this is a simple thing to fix.

I am making a tree and the "trunk split count" won't add more than one split to the tree. I have tried messing with all the slider in the Trunk Split section, but nothing seems to remedy this issue.

Can someone help me out please?

Soo, I think I found the solution. Just saw a video of Marpy where he creates Stylized Trees and I followed his stepes and the trunk splits. So what you need to do is set the trun count to 2 and after that set the Trunk Split Assigmnent to 2 and set the Trunk Split Mode to Increase.
