Hi! I'm wondering about the licensing. I found this program from an old Youtube video. In the video this site looked very different but it stated that "Tree It" (more specifically the trees made in it) can be used for commercial use. I plan on making a game and selling it on Steam. But I cannot find anything about commercial use in these forums, in the readme, or anywhere else. I would just like to know the up-to-date licensing terms. Thank you!

Wish for the next update

Hi. I love this software, but I would have a big wish. Would it be possible to add in the next update, that you can also automatically create the meshes with the orientation from the center to the outside. I occupy the mesh with 2D branches that I create myself and then have to correct many by hand, because they point upwards, or are twisted at each alignment possibility and the possibility to use larger textures would be very nice. Regardless, but a big praise for this great tool and many thanks for it. Greetings BlubboDE

Hello Admin,

We are a educational curriculum and game development company that is looking to develop an open-world exploration game for children. We are interested in funding your work. We need a collection of tropical plants and trees that match the origins of Sri Lanka and/or China. We are currently also working on our own custom game engine in Vulkan and looking to open our new office in China in another 6 or so months, in addition to our Sri Lanka office. I would like if you could reach out to me at einthusan @ g m a i l . c o m and we could discuss further. This would be a valuable opportunity to have a beneficial long term partnership. We were amazed with your banana tree 3D models on Sketchfab. Looks awesome. Looking to hear from you soon.

Cheers,
Einthusan

Wow, Tree It sounds like an amazing tool for creating 3D tree models! The fact that all model exports are free to use with any engine or project is a huge plus. And for those struggling with compatibility issues, the Autodesk FBX converter can be a helpful solution. With "", I can explore this tool and enhance my 3D design skills while managing my online classes. It's a win-win situation!
