there's a lot of uncertainty regarding tree it models licensing.
for example:
- can treeit generated 3D models (and textures) be included in commercial projects (non game engine related) ?
- can treeit generated 3D models (and textures) be resold? if yes with what license? CC0?
I understood that the software is not CC0 and can not be redistributed but there's no information about the models created with TreeIt, if they can be commercialized or not.
For example, software like TheGrove3D or SpeedTree don't allow their users to redistribute the created models. thus the choice of TreeGenerating software for vegetation model redistribution purposes are almost nonexistent.
